In less than 12 months, we have made rapid advancements in the way sourcing can be conducted, and things might never fully go back. We have shown these processes can work.

COVID-19’s impact on Australia has been felt far and wide—particularly in the aged care sector. Residents and staff members of aged care facilities live and work in one of the highest risk environments for infection. The Department of Health and Human Services released data displaying confronting statistics for people working in aged care. These eye-opening statistics showed that 42% of infections were among people working in aged care settings. It was concerning, then, to learn that aged care has major gaps in health and safety precautions, potentially worsening already dangerous conditions.
