About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to assist a male participant based in Loganlea, QLD, who has sustained a spinal cord injury.
Support Schedule:
- Days: Monday - Sunday
- Shift times: Day (6:00am - 10:00am or 7:00am 5:00pm) and afternoon (4:00pm - 10:00pm + sleepover)
Key Responsibilities
- Personal care and hygiene
- Domestic assistance
- Meal preparation
- Complex bowel and catheter management
- Medication management
- Skin integrity management
- Manual handling; transfer, hoist, reposition
- Community access + health and rehab appointment
Pay Rates
- Day shift: $40.00/hour
- Afternoon shift: $44.00/hour
- Saturday shift: $56.00/hour
- Sunday shift: $72.00/hour

Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Australian Driver Licence
- Current Police Check
- First Aid & CPR certification (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009)
- Assist Clients with Medication (HLTHPS006)
- Current Blue Card
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Completion of Effective Communication Module (NDIS)
- Third-party compulsory car insurance
- Two professional references
- A reliable, proactive, and positive approach
