Disability Support Worker

About the Company:

The Role:
Our participant is a male with a traumatic brain injury who requires support in Cairns. PM shifts with inactive sleepover required.

Shifts:

7 Days

5 pm - 10 pm / inactive sleepover/ 6 am - 8 am to be compelted in one shift

Rates:

• Day - $39.25 per hour
• Afternoon rate - $43.18 per hour
• Saturday - $54.95 per hour
• Sunday - $70.65per hour
• Inactive sleepover $187.92

Duties

• Assistance with personal care
• Assistance with domestic tasks, meal preparation
• Manual handling such as transfers
• Administering medication
• Assisting with community access + health and rehab appointments
• Parental assistance

Skills and experiences

• Australian Driver License
• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged care
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue Card
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• Administer medication certificate HTPLS006
