About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to assist an indigenous male participant based in Arana Hills, QLD, who has sustained a traumatic brain injury.

Support Schedule:

• Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays
• Shift times: Day (6:00am - 2:00pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Personal care and hygiene
• Domestic assistance
• Meal preparation
• Incontinence management
• Medication management
• Skin integrity management
• Behaviour management
• Manual handling; transfer, hoist, reposition
• Community access + health and rehab appointment

Pay Rates

• Day shift: $42.50/hour
• Sunday shift: $76.50/hour

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Australian Driver Licence
• Current Police Check
• First Aid & CPR certification (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009)
• Assist Clients with Medication (HLTHPS006)
• Current Blue Card
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Completion of Effective Communication Module (NDIS)
• Third-party compulsory car insurance
• Two professional references
• A reliable, proactive, and positive approach
