The Role

Our Queensland participant base primarily consists of individuals with complex care needs, including spinal cord injuries and brain injuries. These participants require tailored support from experienced Support Workers, Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses.

We are currently seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to join our internal team at our office in Southport, QLD.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a young, growing business with a strong foundation and a genuine commitment to participant-centred care. The successful applicant will play a key role in coordinating care teams and ensuring staff are scheduled in line with participant needs.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling care teams specific to each participant's needs
  • Maintaining and updating staff rosters
  • Coordinating shift coverage and managing roster changes
  • Communicating professionally with staff, participants and internal stakeholders
  • Completing accurate data entry into the CRM system
  • Ensuring worker compliance and organisational governance requirements are maintained
  • Supporting a participant-centred approach to service delivery
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced environment

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Scheduling Coordinator or within the healthcare/disability industry
  • Scheduling or rostering experience, preferably within healthcare, disability or community services
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • A professional and appropriate manner
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A genuine interest in supporting high-quality participant outcomes
