About the Role

As a Rostering Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining efficient workforce schedules to ensure participants receive consistent, high-quality support from appropriately skilled staff.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to changing operational requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating, managing, and maintaining staff rosters across disability and community support services
  • Matching support workers to participant needs, preferences, and care requirements
  • Managing roster changes, leave requests, and last-minute shift coverage
  • Liaising with participants, support workers, families, and internal teams
  • Monitoring workforce utilisation and service delivery requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with participant funding arrangements, service agreements, and organisational requirements
  • Supporting after-hours and escalation processes where required
  • Maintaining accurate records and workforce management systems

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in rostering, workforce planning, scheduling, or coordination roles
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment with competing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage complex scheduling requirements
  • Experience within healthcare, disability, aged care, community services, or workforce management highly regarded
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and participant-centred service delivery desirable
