About the Company:

Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

We are currently looking for Registered Nurse to join our team to assist our participant in Orange, NSW. Our male participant had total body surface burns. Due to this he has reduced movement and strength in his left hand and right elbow and requires assistance in all aspects of his life.

Our participant requires support from Monday to Sunday, 0700-0900.

Pay rates:

• Day Shift - $60 p/h
• Saturday Shift - $84 p/h
• Sunday Shift - $108 p/h

Key Responsibilities:

• Assistance withcomplex wound dressing
• Complete skin checks and skin integrity management
• Assistance in scar management (splinting, scar massage)

Skills & Experiences:

• Experience in Scar Management (splinting, scar massage)
• With medication competencies
• AHPRA Registration
• Prior experience working with people who have complex care needs
• Prior experience with complex wound dressings
• Current First Aid & CPR
• National Police Clearance
• NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module and Supporting Effective Communication Module
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Full Australian working rights
• Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times
• Medication Monitoring Training Certificate is a MUST
