Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

We are currently looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our team to assist our high needs participant located in Blacktown, NSW. Our participant is a is a middle-aged male who is tetraplegic and requires day and night assistance.

Due to the complexity of the care, there will be an extensive training schedule in place for the team, with shifts to officially commence on the 17^th of December.

This role is casual on-going and will involve a roster that includes:

Day (9am-11am) and Active night shifts (8:30pm - 7:00am), Monday - Sunday.

Pay rates are:

Day - $60 p/hr

Night - $67.20 p/hr

Saturday - $84 p/hr

Sunday - $108 p/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stoma Care
• Complex wound dressings
• Complete skin checks and skin integrity management
• Catheter care management
• Manual handling duties
• Vital sign monitoring
• Medication administration

Skills & Experiences:

• Completed a Bachelors of Nursing
• Current AHPRA registration
• Prior experience working with people who have complex care needs
• Prior experience with complex wound dressings
• Current First Aid & CPR
• National Police Clearance
• NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module
• Full Australian working rights
• Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times
• Reliable and proactive
