About the role:

We are seeking Domestic Supports Workers to join our Aged Care Division in the North Sydney Region. In this role, you will support our elderly clients to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy home environment while promoting independence, wellness and reablement.

This is a casual, ongoing position with an immediate start and the opportunity to build a regular weekly schedule. Shifts are typically 2 hours in duration and are offered on a Monday to Friday basis.

Shift Locations (but not limited to):

• Belrose
• Ryde
• St Ives
• Gladesville
• Lane Cove
• Willoughby
• Chatswood

Roster Examples:

• 8AM-10AM
• 9:30AM-11:30AM
• 11AM-1PM
• 2PM-4PM

Pay rate:

• Day - $34.45 per hour (day rate)

Key Responsibilities:

• General house cleaning
• Washing of house linen or provision of laundering linen, usually by a separate laundry facility.
• Unaccompanied shopping (delivered to home)
• Clothes washing and ironing
• Dishwashing

Skills & Experiences:

• Prior experience in aged care setting (desirable but not essential)
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Current Police Clearance (within 12 months of issue)
• NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module
• NDIS 'Supporting Effective Communication' module
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Full Australian working rights
• Australian Driver's License, and access to a car
• Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times
• Reliable and proactive
