About the Role:

We are currently looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team to assist our participant in Cameron Park, NSW. Our participant is a middle-aged male who suffered a traumatic brain Injury this year. He lives at home with his wife.

The role is urgent as he is being discharged at the end of next week and we will require to speak/interview you in the coming days. The expected start date is in the coming weeks.

This role is casual on-going and will involve a roster that requires flexibility.

• Monday - Friday, 0700 - 1600

Pay rates:

• Day Shift - $38.75 p/h

• Public Holiday - $85.25 p/h

Key Responsibilities:

• Domestic assistance and supervision
• Assistance with meal prep
• Transportation to appointments
• Manual handling
• Personal care

Skills & Experiences:

• Previous experience supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries
• Australian Drivers Licence and insured Vehicle is a MUST
• Current First Aid & CPR
• National Police Clearance
• NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module and Supporting Effective Communication Module
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Full Australian working rights
• Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times
