Disability Support Worker

Position Details

Participant:

Our Participant who is a male who suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury due to a Motor Vehicle Accident, is currently looking for Support Workers to join his team in Maclean, NSW.

Current Roster: 
Mondays and Fridays - 8:30AM - 2:30PM

Wednesdays- 8:30AM - 12:30PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning

• Assistance with meal preparation and grocery shopping

• Assistance with daily Health & Rehab exercises

• Community access

• Routine development and Independence capacity building

Pay rates:

• Day Shift - $40 p/h 

Requirements:

• Experience with spinal cord injuries / brain injury or other high complex care participants

• Prior experience with pressure injuries

• Manual handling experience

• Current First Aid & CPR

• National Police Clearance

• NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module and Supporting Effective Communication Module

• NDIS Worker Screening Check

• Working with Children Check

• Full Australian working rights

• Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times

• Drivers licence and reliable vehicle
