Disability Support Worker

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:

We are currently looking for a Disability Support Worker to work with our female client in Rockhampton,Qld. Our participant is located 15 mins outside of Rockhampton city and requires assistance 7 days per week.



Applicants with prior experience of working with brain injury clients will be highly regarded. This is a casual ongoing position with no end date in sight.

Shift Hours:

7 am starts required



Key Responsibilities:

• Assistance with personal care, bowel care and catherter management
• Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning, washing & meal preparation.
• Community access

Pay rate:

• Day Shift: $40 per hour
• Saturday Shift: $56 per hour
• Sunday Shift: $72 per hour
• Travel allowance: $0.99 per km (applied only when travelling the participant to and from medical appointments).

Skills & Experiences:

• Australian Driver Licence
• Certificate III in Individual Support
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current NDIS Worker Screening
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module - Certificate of Completion
• NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module - Certificate of Completion
• Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
