Start Date: ASAP | Fixed / Ongoing Assignment | $40.00 - $72.00 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to assist a male participant in Nerang, QLD. The participant spinal cord injury as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

The position is on-call and available immediately, with support required in the morning (8:00 AM - 10:30 AM) and the evening (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM) Monday through to Sunday.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Domestic assistance
• Meal preparation
• Bowel management - administer enema and digital stimulation (if required)
• Medication management
• Skin integrity management
• Manual handling - transfers
• Community access + health and rehab appointment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Individual Support
• Australian Driver Licence
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current Blue Card and Yellow Card
• First Aid & CPR Certificate
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Supporting Effective Communication
• Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude

Please Note:
Two current professional references are required as part of the application process.

Pay Rates:

• Day Rate: $40.00 per hour
• Saturday: $56.00 per hour
• Sunday: $72.00 per hour
• Travel Allowance: $0.99 per kilometre (when travelling with the participant)
