Disability Support Worker

About the Company:

Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:

Our participant is a female in her 50's with a traumatic brain injury who requires support Monday to Thursday. This role is on a casual on-going basis with potential for increased hours to 24/7 support in the future.

Approx shift times: Mon-Thurs

Week 1: 8 pm - 6 am / 6 am - 3 pm

Week 2: 1 pm - 7 pm / 7 pm - 1 am


Rates

• Day - $38.75 per hour
• Afternoon rate - $ 42.63 per hour
• Active nights -$43.40 per hour
• Saturday - $54.25 per hour
• Sunday - $ 69.75 per hour

Duties

• Assistance with minimal personal care
• Assistance with domestic tasks
• Administering medication
• Assisting with community access + health and rehab appointments

Skills and experiences

• Australian Driver Licence
• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged care
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue Card
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• Administer medication
