Disability Support Worker

About the Company:

Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:

Our particpant is a young male who has a traumatic brain injury. He requires support Monday to Friday to attend rehab appointments and assistance at work and completley work tasks. This role is on a casual on-going basis and commencing by the end of Febuary.

Shifts:

Wednesday 10 am - 4 pm ,Thursday 6 am - 2 pm and Friday 6 am - 2 pm!

Rates

• Day - $36.25 per hour
• .99c per km participant related travel

Duties

• Assistance with domestic tasks & grocery shopping
• Assisance with work tasks
• Assisting with community access + health and rehab appointments

Skills and experiences

• Australian Driver Licence
• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged care
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue Card
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• Administer medication
