Disability Support Worker

About the Company:

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:

Our particpant is a male who has a Spinal Cord Injury who requires support 2:1 Monday to Sunday. This role is on a casual on-going basis with full time hours available and commencing immediately.

Rates

• Day - $60 per hour
• Afternoon rate - $66 per hour
• Saturday - $84 per hour
• Sunday - $108 per hour

Duties

• Assistance with minimal personal care
• Assistance with domestic tasks
• Manual handling such as transfers
• Administering medication
• Assisting with community access + health and rehab appointments

Skills and experiences

• Australian Driver Licence
• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged care
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue Card
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• Administer medication
