Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services, and Allied Health.
The Role: Disability Support Worker
- Provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals with disabilities in the community.
- Willing to travel for shifts and for community access
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, manual handling and mobility support.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Mandatory:
- Previous experience in disability support
- Certificate 3 in Disability or equivalent qualification.
- Effective Communication and Ndis Worker Modules
- Current First Aid and CPR
- NDIS Worker Check
- NDIS Working with Children Check
- Police Check
- Administer Medication
- Current Drivers Licence and Car Insurance
- Ability to adapt to different environments and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals with disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support.
- Facilitate community access, including transportation to appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages independence and personal growth.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Pay Rates:
- Day Rate: $36.25
- Afternoon Shift: $38 - $40.00
- Night Shifts: $42.00
- Saturday Shift: $52.50 per hour
- Sunday Shift: $62.00 per hour
