About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to support a male participant located in Upper Pilton, QLD 4361. The participant has sustained a spinal cord injury because of a motor vehicle accident.

This role is available for immediate start and involves consistent weekly shifts:

• Thursday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM (7.5 hours)
• Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM (7.5 hours)
• Saturday: 7:30 AM - 3:45 PM (total 8.25 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Personal care and hygiene support
• Medication management
• Manual handling, including transfers and hoist use
• Bowel care, including enemas and digital stimulation
• Community access and participation in health and rehabilitation activities

Pay Rates

• Day shift: $45.00/hour
• Saturday shift: $63.00/hour
• Sunday shift: $81.00/hour

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Australian Driver Licence
• Current Police Check
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Current Blue Card
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Completion of Effective Communication Module (NDIS)
• Third-party compulsory car insurance
• Two professional references
• A reliable, proactive, and positive approach
