The Role:
UHC are seeking a Disability Support Worker to support a male based in Goondiwindi, QLD. Our Participant sustained a spinal cord injury which is the result of a motor vehicle accident.

Support is required Monday to Sunday in the morning, evening and night including sleepover.

This position offers upskilling for suitable applicants.

Rate of Pay:

• Day - $50.00 per hour
• Afternoon - $55.00 per hour
• Night - $56.00 per hour
• Saturday - $70.00 per hour
• Sunday - $90.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Domestic assistance
• Medication administration
• Manual handling: transfer, reposition and hoist
• Catheter management
• Colostomy management
• Transport and accompany to community access + health and rehab appointments

Skills & Experiences:

• Australian Driver Licence
• Certificate III in Individual Support
• Current Police Clearance
• Current Blue Card
• Current NDIS Worker Screening
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Third Party Compulsory Insurance
• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
