Clinical Field and Training Coordinator

About Us

Unidex Healthcare is a growing disability support provider committed to delivering exceptional, participant-centred care across Australia. We support people with complex disabilities to live independently in their own homes and communities.

We are a close-knit, collaborative team that values autonomy, clinical excellence, and the kind of genuine human connection that makes a real difference in the lives of the people we support.

What sets us apart is the way we approach care. We match participants with support workers who share their interests, culture, and values because we believe that meaningful connection is the foundation of quality support. We are a registered provider across NDIS, iCare, NIISQ, and ICWA, and we operate a 24/7 service with seamless care coordination from onboarding through to ongoing clinical management.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced clinician who is as comfortable in a training room as they are in the field.

As our Clinical Field and Training Coordinator, you will be the bridge between clinical governance and frontline practice. You will get out into the community, observe how care is being delivered, identify what our support workers need to do it better, and then build and deliver the training that gets them there.

This is a work from home role with regular field travel across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria. If you are someone who loves developing people and can connect clinical standards to real-world practice, this role was made for you.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Planning and delivering clinical training aligned to UHC's care model and NDIS Practice Standards
  • Visiting participants in their homes to build genuine relationships and rapport
  • Acting as a trusted clinical presence for participants druring field visits
  • Conducting field visits to observe and assess support worker practice and competency in real care environments
  • Identifying workforce capability gaps and developing targeted, practical training responses
  • Supporting clinical onboarding for new staff and ensuring orientation is completed within the first four weeks
  • Supporting staff understanding and implementation of after hours clinical protocols
  • Raising practice concerns identified during field visits and supporting corrective action processes
  • Reporting training activity and workforce capability data to the National Clinical Manager monthly

What We Offer

  • A standalone role with real influence over how our workforce delivers care
  • A work from home base with a meaningful field travel component - variety is built into this role
  • A supportive national clinical team who will support you and your work
  • An organisation committed to building genuine clinical capability
  • Car allowance for work related travel
  • Opportunities for ongoing professional development
  • The chance to shape something new at an exciting point in our organisational journey

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration and NDIS Yellow Card
  • Minimum 2-3 years post-registration experience with community, disability, or complex care exposure
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical education, training delivery, or workforce capability development
  • A confident, engaging facilitator who can bring clinical content to life for frontline workers
  • Strong documentation skills and familiarity with clinical management systems
  • Ability to manage a travel schedule, work autonomously, and prioritise effectively
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly across QLD and NSW

Background in disability, complex care, spinal cord injury, or acquired brain injury is highly regarded. We value clinical confidence, practical know-how, and a genuine passion for growing people.
