Clinical Support Officer

About Us

Unidex Healthcare is a growing disability support provider committed to delivering exceptional, participant-centred care across Australia. We support people with complex disabilities to live independently in their own homes and communities.

We are a close-knit, collaborative team that values autonomy, clinical excellence, and the kind of genuine human connection that makes a real difference in the lives of the people we support.

What sets us apart is the way we approach care. We match participants with support workers who share their interests, culture, and values because we believe that meaningful connection is the foundation of quality support. We are a registered provider across NDIS, iCare, NIISQ, and ICWA, and we operate a 24/7 service with seamless care coordination from onboarding through to ongoing clinical management.

The Opportunity

We are looking for someone who is brilliant behind the scenes. A Clinical Support Officer who takes pride in getting the detail right, who keeps things moving, and who understands that good administration is what allows good clinical care to happen.

This is role within our reshaped Clinical Division, and it is an important one. You will work directly alongside our internal Clinical Team and National Clinical Manager, keeping our participant records accurate, our documentation flowing, and our participants supported.

This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work from home. If you are highly organised, detail-oriented, and want to contribute to meaningful work in disability and complex care - without holding direct clinical responsibility - this could be exactly what you are looking for.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Maintaining accurate and complete participant profiles in line with clinical and compliance requirements
  • Processing clinical documentation within agreed timeframes and to a high standard of accuracy
  • Supporting the Clinical Division with scheduling, correspondence, and day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Triaging and allocating incoming clinical correspondence on the day of receipt
  • Compiling and distributing monthly coordinator reports on time
  • Monitoring outstanding tasks and flagging anything at risk of falling through the cracks
  • Conducting periodic data quality checks and correcting errors in clinical records
  • Supporting the National Clinical Manager with board reporting, project administration, and document management

What We Offer

  • A hybrid role with genuine flexibility
  • A newly created position at the centre of a high-performing, close-knit clinical team
  • Clear systems, processes, and support from an experienced national clinical leadership team
  • Meaningful work; you will see the direct impact of what you do on the safety and quality of care for real people
  • A collaborative, supportive team culture where your contribution is noticed and valued
  • Opportunities for ongoing development as the organisation grows

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration is ideal, and/or experience in healthcare and community services administration
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience with clinical or participant management systems
  • Excellent time management and the ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball
  • Professional written communication skills for documentation and correspondence
  • A self-directed work style with the ability to thrive in a remote environment

Prior experience in the NDIS or disability sector is highly regarded. Familiarity with NDIS Practice Standards and participant records compliance will help you hit the ground running.
