Disability Support Worker

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the health care field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

We are seeking experienced disability support workers to assist a participant in the Cairns area. Availability accross the 7 day roster essential.

Shifts:

2:1 ratio 7 days per week

6 am - 4 pm

4 pm - 10 pm

4 pm - 10 pm and inactive

Active night shift 10 pm - 6 am

Rates:

Day $41.45

Afternoon $45.59

Sat:$58.03

Sunday:$74.61

Duties:

• Assistance with personal care/ bowel care
• Community access
• Assistance with domestic tasks
• Manual handling such as hoisting and transfers
• Administering medication

Skills & Experience

• Australian Driver's License
• Certificate 3 in Individual Support minimum requirement
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue Card
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support effective communication module
• Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
• Medication administration certificate HTLP006 or willing to obtain
