Disability Support Worker

About the Company:

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:

Our participant is female who has a traumatic brain injury, she requires support 2:1 throughout parts of her day from Monday to Sunday. This role is on a casual on-going basis and commencing immediately.

Available shifts:

Variety of shifts available, successful candidate preferably to be available for sleepovers.

Rates

• Day - $ 38.75 per hour
• Evening rate after 8 pm - $ 42.62 per hour
• Saturday - $ 54.25 per hour
• Sunday - $ 69.75 per hour
• Sleepover $100 plus 2 night hours

Duties

• Assistance with personal care/bowel care/showering etc
• Assistance with domestic tasks
• Manual handling such as transfers
• Administering medication
• Assisting with community access + health and rehab appointments

Skills and experiences

• Australian Driver License
• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged care
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue Card
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• Administer medication
