Disability Support Worker

Start Date: immediately | Mandarin Speaking | $40.00 - $72.00 per Hour

The Role: We are seeking a dedicated Mandarin speaking Disability Support Worker to assist a female participant in Southport, QLD 4215, who sustained a traumatic brain injury.

The position is available immediately, with assistance required Monday to Sunday in the daytime (from 6:00 AM to 14:00 PM), evening (from 14:00 PM to 22:00 PM) and inactive night (from 22:00 PM to 6:00 AM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and prompt ADLs (walking, feeding, dressing and grooming, toileting, bathing)
• Supervise medication management
• Domestic assistance
• Transport and accompany to community access + health and rehab appointments
• Provide companion and emotional support

Compensation:

• Day Shift: $40.00 per hour
• Afternoon shift: $44.00 per hour
• Saturday shift: $56.00 per hour
• Sunday shift: $72.00 per hour
• Travel Allowance: $0.99 per km (for medical-related travel)

Skills & Experience Required:

• Valid Australian Driver's License
• Certificate III in Individual Support
• Current Police Clearance
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification
• Current Blue Card
• Current NDIS Worker Screening
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Completion of NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Third Party Compulsory Insurance
• Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
