Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:
UHC are seeking to engage a Disability Support Worker to partner with a male participant based in Stafford, QLD 4053. Our Participant sustained a spinal cord injury which is the result of a motor vehicle accident.

The role is commencing immediately. Assistance is required in the day (08:30-12:00) and evening (17:00-19:00).

The key responsibilities in this role are:

Personal care and hygiene
Domestic assistance
Bowel management (administer enema)
Medication management
Catheter management
Manual handling: transfer, reposition and hoist operation
Pressure injury management

The hourly rate of pay for this role is:

Day shift: $40.00 per hour
Afternoon shift: $44.00 per hour
Saturday shift: $56.00 per hour
Sunday shift: $72.00 per hour
Sleepover Allowance: $148 per sleepover
Travel Allowance: $0.96 per km (applies for medical related purposes)

Australian Driver Licence
Certificate III in Individual Support
Current Police Clearance
Current First Aid and CPR

Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
