Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.
The Role:
UHC are seeking to engage Registered Nurse to partner with a male participant based in Hervey Bay, QLD 4655. Our Participant is requiring the highest complex care and is non-verbal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a clinical point of contact for support workers during shift times
- Provide immediate guidance and address clinical concerns raised
- Conduct regular assessments of participants health status
- Monitor and document any changes in participants condition and ensure prompt response times
- Collaborate with Allied Health professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care plan
- Facilitate communication between support workers and Allied Health professionals to implement necessary adjustments to participants care
- Provide ongoing training to support staff
- Ensure all consumables related to participants care are stocked, stored and used correctly
- Oversee the accuracy of the participants clinical documents
- Raise any significant concerns or changes in the participants condition to the clinical coordinator
- Document and report any incidents or issues that arise during the course of care

Skills & Experiences:
- You will be required to have at least 6-12 months' experience working as a RN.
- You will be required to have full working rights in Australia.
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Current NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' Module
- NDIS 'Supporting Effective Communication' Module
- AHPRA registration without any restrictions
- Access to a car, Drivers Licence and Insurance is required.
