The Role:


UHC are seeking to engage Registered Nurse to partner with a male participant based in Hervey Bay, QLD 4655. Our Participant is requiring the highest complex care and is non-verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a clinical point of contact for support workers during shift times
  • Provide immediate guidance and address clinical concerns raised
  • Conduct regular assessments of participants health status
  • Monitor and document any changes in participants condition and ensure prompt response times
  • Collaborate with Allied Health professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care plan
  • Facilitate communication between support workers and Allied Health professionals to implement necessary adjustments to participants care
  • Provide ongoing training to support staff
  • Ensure all consumables related to participants care are stocked, stored and used correctly
  • Oversee the accuracy of the participants clinical documents
  • Raise any significant concerns or changes in the participants condition to the clinical coordinator
  • Document and report any incidents or issues that arise during the course of care

Skills & Experiences:

  • You will be required to have at least 6-12 months' experience working as a RN.
  • You will be required to have full working rights in Australia.
  • Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
  • Current NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
  • Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • NDIS 'Worker Orientation' Module
  • NDIS 'Supporting Effective Communication' Module
  • AHPRA registration without any restrictions
  • Access to a car, Drivers Licence and Insurance is required.
